LATEST Lenovo's Zuk Z1 With 4100mAh Battery,

Lenovo's new online-only brand is aimed at countering the rise of Xiaomi in China, which too has followed a low-cost online-only model. The company was expected to start operations in China in April; though it has only launched its first product in August.

The Zuk Z1 features metal frames around the handset and includes no branding from Lenovo. There is only a Zuk logo branding at the back of the handset.

The Zuk Z1 features a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) display and sports a physical home button on the front panel. Notably, the home button on the Z1 smartphone also embeds the fingerprint scanner. Much like recently launched flagship smartphones, Lenovo's Zuk Z1 features the USB Type-C 3.0 port.
Under the hood, the new smartphone packs a dated Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.5GHZ coupled with 3GB of RAM and Adreno 330 GPU. The handset supports dual Nano-SIM cards and runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. It packs 64GB of inbuilt storage.

The smartphone sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with Sony sensor (IMX214) and optical image stabilization (OIS), another feature that's found in high-end smartphones. There is an 8-megapixel front-facing camera also on board. It packs a large 4100mAh battery and will be available in White and Grey colours. The Zuk Z1 smartphone measures 155.7x77.3x8.9mm and weighs 175 grams.

The model launched in China supports both 4G LTE bands in India (FDD-LTE Band 3 1800MHz and TDD-LTE Band 40 2300MHz). Other connectivity options on the Zuk Z1 include Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, and Glonass. It features an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, digital compass (magnetometer), and proximity sensor

I am looking for a fitness tracker band, but I'm puzzled....

http://i.kinja-img.com/gawker-media/image/upload/s--x_kPhvsF--/19b4bpqllbg89jpg.jpg
I am looking for a fitness tracker band, but I'm puzzled by the different features and which one might be right for me..................

It provides a  new way make your lifestlye a full of info of your body stats and physical behaviour on daily basis .it very useful to the extent who want to be fit and make every note of calorie burnt and eaten.
Depending on your budget, you could pick from a simple tracker without a screen, to a full-scale watch with GPS and a heart rate monitor... The Mi Band (Rs 999) lacks a display screen, but you can connect it to the Mi Fit app (for Android and iOS) to monitor your physical activity, calories burnt, sleep quality and wake time. When used with a phone, the band can track your walking route using GPS.

And while it works with all handsets, you get extra features when used with a Xiaomi phone: The Mi band vibrates just before your morning alarm sets off to wake you gently and buzzes when you have incoming calls. This band is good for those who own a Xiaomi handset and need a feature-packed device without breaking the bank.

The GetActive Tapp (Rs 4,999) connects to its app on smartphones and an online dashboard. It calculates the number of steps and calories burnt. On the web dashboard, you can view records by day, month and year; add and compete with other GetActive users - and the service even awards virtual badges for completing fitness milestones. The 'badges' make the service goaloriented - and the fact that you can add friends to your profile makes it very competitive.

With the Goqii band (Rs 3,999) for three months - Rs 11,999 for one year) you are allotted a personal trainer who discusses your fitness goals, diet and your medical history with you to create a customized fitness regimen. The band displays the number of steps taken, the distance covered in kilometres and calories burned. Users are encouraged to log details of their sleep time, their water intake, and also post pictures of the food they've consumed.

Trained coaches use this information to suggest changes in lifestyle. Goqii's subscription works well for users who need motivation to exercise. Daily conversations with coaches along with real-world advice make this service ideal for those who want to change their lifestyle, but need constant encouragement and guidance.

The TomTom Runner (Rs 12,500) comes with proprietary GPS technology for precision tracking of running routes. It connects with the TomTom MySports Connect software on the PC where you have to key in your age, weight, height and gender for more accurate data analysis. Besides, it comes with a heartrate monitor that lets you keep an eye on your ticker while you exercise.

The Runner comes with different training modes including Goals (where you can enter the distance you want to cover, the time you want to run, or calories you want to burn) and Zones (that calculates your pace, heart rate and more). Users can also sync this device with the TomTom MySports app on their phones. This sporty-looking wristwatch is geared for the serious outdoor fitness enthusiast, who might perhaps also use the collected data to work along with professional trainers.

Xiaomi Teases Launch of 2 Smartphones

xiaomi_product_launch_china_fb_feed.jpg

Xiaomi in its latest teaser has seemingly confirmed that there will be two new products revealed at its Thursday event.
The company shared a new teaser image on Facebook showing a couple of hands accompanied by an incomplete sentence, "_ is better than one." We expect the missing word is two in the sentence, which corroborates earlier leaks, and we can expect the successor to the Xiaomi Mi 4, the Mi 5, to launch alongside the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 at the event.
For specifications, the Mi 5 (also referred to as Mi 4S) smartphone is said to feature a 5.7-inch Quad-HD (1440x2560 pixels) display; a 64-bit Snapdragon 810 processor; 3GB of RAM, and a 20.7-megapixel rear camera. The most recent leaks (yesterdays benchmark leak) however, list a Snapdragon 801 processor.

The successor to the Xiaomi Redmi Note, on the other hand, is expected to feature a 5.7-inch full-HD display with a 2.5D glass screen; ab64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 (MSM8939) octa-core processor; 2GB of RAM; 16GB/32GB storage variants; a 13-megapixel rear camera; a 5-megapixel front camera; MIUI 6 based on Android 4.4 KitKat; dual-SIM support (Micro-SIMs), and a 3600mAh battery.

Late on Tuesday, a Chinese publication posted a bunch of images purportedly showing the alleged Mi 5 smartphone. In the leaked images, the Mi 5 was seen running a benchmark app, thought to be AnTuTu, showing a test score of the smartphone.

Mi shared their photo.

Oppo R1C With 64-Bit Octa-Core Soc, Sapphire Glass Display Launched

oppo_r1c_blue.jpg

Oppo, expanding its R1 smartphone series, has unveiled the Oppo R1C in China. The smartphone is a refreshed version of the Oppo R1S, and features some updated specifications.

Set to start shipping on January 20, the Oppo R1S is priced at CNY 2,499 (roughly Rs. 25,000). Availability details of the smartphone outside China are not yet known. Interested users can pre-order it from the company's online store.

The Android 4.4 KitKat-based Oppo R1C shares some specifications with the R1S, including a 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) display, 16GB of inbuilt storage, 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. However, the RIC additionally features a sapphire glass panel and 4G connectivity.
the dual-SIM handset is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor clocked at 1.5GHz coupled with 2GB of RAM, in contrast to the R1S' 1.6GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 SoC with 1GB of RAM. With the support for expandable storage via microSD card (up to 128GB), the Oppo R1C's 13-megapixel rear camera uses a Sony IMX214 sensor with an f/2.0 aperture lens instead of the CMOS sensor in R1S. The battery capacity has also been slightly bumped from 2410mAh to 2420mAh. The device is 6.8mm thick.

Lately Oppo has made its mark in the smartphone market by launching its Oppo R5, which is currently the second slimmest handset in the world with 4.85mm thickness after the Vivo X5Max (4.75mm). The smartphone was launched in India last month at Rs. 29,990. The smartphone includes the same processor and camera specifications seen in the Oppo R1C.

the Nokia 215,Ten reasons you’ll want

The newly  Nokia 215 is perfect for both first-time mobile phone buyers and those wanting a second phone.

Nokia-215_infographic
1. The Nokia 215 is Internet-ready
As an entry-level phone you may think that the Nokia 215 doesn’t have any Internet capabilities. But it does.
That means that you can browse the Web using Bing Search or Opera Mini Browser, monitor the weather using the MSN Weather app, connect with your friends on the preinstalled Facebook and Messenger apps, and check out millions upon millions of tweets via Twitter.
2. Ready and charged when you need it
If you require a phone to stay charged for days at a time, the Nokia 215 Single SIM can last up to 29 days (almost a month) and the Nokia 215 Dual SIM can keep going for up to 21 days (three weeks). Imagine only charging your phone once a month!
3. One phone, two SIMs
Speaking of Dual SIM, the Nokia 215 Dual SIM variant means that if you have two SIM cards, you only need to carry one phone with you.
Why may you need two SIMs? Perhaps you use one for work purposes and the other for your personal line. Or, you have SIM for you and the other is for another member of your family. It all depends on your circumstances and needs.
4. Non-stop music
If you’re into music, the Nokia 215 includes an FM radio that you can play for up to 45 hours. That’s almost two days!
If you prefer to have more control over your tunes, the built-in MP3 player provides up to 50 hours of playback.
Do you know how many songs you can play in 50 hours? Well, if the average song is roughly 3 minutes long, you’d be able to listen to 1,000 songs in 50 hours.
5. Memory
Where can you store all those songs that you’re going to listen to hour after hour? The Nokia 215 has a MicroSD slot with support of up to 32 GB, that’s where.

6. Light up the night
Whether you’re searching for the door keys in your bag after a night out, trying to find the right path home in the middle of nowhere, or simply trying to read a book after a power outage, the Nokia 215’s handy built-in torch makes doing all of those things, and more, easier.
7. Designed to last
Like all of our previous (and future, of course) phones, the Nokia 215 is built to last.
Not only does the bright green, white, and black polycarbonate shell retain its color when scratched, the phone’s soft rubber keys are hardy and easy to use. The 215 simply feels great in the palm of your hand.

8. Simple sharing
Sharing is an important part of everyday life, and the Nokia 215 makes it easy to send content such as photos or contacts via Bluetooth 3.0 thanks to SLAM technology.
Just bring the two phones together to send or receive files.
9. Say cheese!
Even at the entry level, it’s possible to have a camera phone.
Take photos or record video of your friends, family, pets, landscapes, or absolutely anything else you can think of.
10. All of this for an affordable price
The Nokia 215 will cost just $29 before taxes and subsidies when it goes on sale, rolling out first in the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and Europe in the first quarter of 2015.
What’s your favorite feature of the Nokia 215?
